2)Increase Traffic Lights
3)Improve Public Transport

2.If you are successful elected what would be the first priority you will aim to achieve?

As a teacher, my priorities are children, health, education and community safety. I will also priorities family violence and the impact it has especially on men who don’t have a voice in our society. I would also fight for women, teenagers and younger children who find themselves in the same situation. As a wife and mother I understand family values and can provide a female prospective in helping the community.

3.Why did you decide to run for councillor?

I have been approach by members of the community who I have been helping in various ways. They have suggested to me to stand as a councilor at this elections so I would be able to help more than what I have done for the past 15 years.
Through my career as an Engineer, company owner, a migration Agent and a teacher I have helped a lot of people in their needs. I can inspire young people to believe in them and help them to achieve great things in their lives.
I am proud recipient of “Melvin Jones Fellow” from Lions Club International U.S.A, the highest international award. For helping the community. Through the District and my club, I have organized food hampers to discerning families, planted native trees around Greater Dandenong City Parks for 10 years, helped migrants in obtaining their visas. Taught school students to read, write, mathematics, science, and encouraged them to complete their higher education.

Since I have been already helping the community and I am planning to continue I have decided to contest at this council elections

4.What will you do differently to all other candidates?

“My priorities will be low income people, local jobs and I will aim to look after the residents by listening to their concerns and working with the community in order to find good solutions like affordable council rates, reduce family violence, Fostering the creation of local jobs with opportunities for our youth including skilled training opportunities, and improving public transport and parking.’’
